Meet Adelino Alexandre from Angola, Africa. We first got to know Adelino when team riders Emanuel Embaixador and Dave Scott were invited to Angola for their first competition. Adelino stood out the most with his ability to get out to waves that most could not. He started like most of the Angola crew on a wooden plank and is now shredding on a carbon fiber board. We are happy to have him as part of the Zap family and look forward to seeing what comes from him in the future. Here is a quick interview with Mega and him. Enjoy!
Hey Adelino, we know you were in Brazil to compete in the UST Sununga event. What did you think about the event?
The UST in Sununga was the best contest that I have ever been too.
What do u think about the Sununga waves?
The waves are perfect, to bad we could not stay a little bit longer to adapt better to the conditions.
Do you like brazil?
I loved Brazil, it is amazing in every way.
Tell us a little bit about your new board, the Jason Wilson pro model?
My new board is fantastic! The board gives me so much speed and at the same time it is very easy to do tricks.
Any projects for the future?
Just to keep working on being a skimboarding athlete, attend college in Sound Engineering, and one day visit the Zap Skimboards factory. I would love one day to skim with every Zap team rider as well.
Ola Adelino!
Gostaste do brasil?
