What a weekend we had in the Outer Banks, NC! On Sunday the conditions really stepped up as the day progressed and the tide filled in as all attendees kept cool. Zap represented quite well in a contest so crowded there was an entry cut off! Am riders did quite well in their respective divisions. Casey Ritzer took third in boy’s division, Joe Ryce first in sr. men’s, Ed Hayden taking fourth and Kyle Holt second in masters, Helen Holt third in women’s, and Sam McCoy shredding as always taking first in the semi pro division and second in jr. men’s. A big shout out go to Casey Lynn Kiernan for winning the professional women’s division and Max Smetts for placing fourth in professional men’s! Thanks to all of the sponsors who helped support one of the biggest contests of the year! Next stop is the zap amateur world championship up in Dewey beach see y’all there!
