    Ride Nature || Giving Back

    We are proud to be supporting Ride Nature and all their missionary work they do for people around the world. They have helped spread over a 1000 boards in various countries and touched the lives of many. Be sure to check out this video from one of the more recent trips they were on in Panama and head to their website to find out more about this great organization!

    “We once again had the privilege of leading a team to one of our favorite countries in the world, Panama. The group that we led consisted of 10 college age students as well as 2 previous Ride Nature staff. We started the trip in Panama City, near the canal, and had an opportunity to help out at the Hearts Cry children’s home as they have been moving offices and remodeling an abandoned Army building to become the facility to care for and host special needs kids. We served by painting some window trim, power washing military grade ceramic roof shingles, removing debris and old materials, and one of the youth that was a part of our team did some filming to help them with a short fundraising video for the ministry. Our long time brother, friend, and mission coordinator in Panama, Dave Terrenova, spent the 10 days with the team and served as tour guide, translator, and liaison. Dave runs Canal Skate, an indoor skate park that we helped build back in 2012 with Christian Skaters and JSAW. The park sits right next to the Panama Canal and is an incredible facility where we are stoked to share that young skaters are being discipled, poured into, and and trained on how to share the Gospel and make disciples.

    For the second half of the trip, we headed 5 hours north to a small surfing/fishing village on the coast. We were stoked to partner with a missionary there to help finish a concrete mini ramp and host a surf contest and beach outreach. Through our time finishing the ramp the group was able to share testimonies, some mini messages, and well as spend time building relationships with the local shredders. On one of our work days, as part of the team stayed back to finish painting the ramp, the other half of the team felt led to go out and pray for the people in the community, ministering to those that were sick and/or discouraged. Once the ramp was finished we had the opportunity to host a little mini ramp jam as the grand opening of the ramp and share a message with all of those who came out to the event.

    In the book of Acts, chapter 5, verse 14, Luke shares that “MORE THAN EVER, believers were added to the Lord”. This has been our prayer and hope for Ride Nature since day one. That with every trip we lead and with every chance we get to share the Gospel with someone, that we continue to do it more effectively and with more intentionality. We’re excited to share that this trip was one of our bests to date and we look forward to the coming years to see how God will continue to grow, strengthen, and challenge us to continue making HIS name famous around the world.

    To the ENDS of the earth!
