We are stoked to introduce a 3 part web series from our travels to Mainland Mexico with team riders Gerardo Valencia, Yahir Valencia, & John Akerman. The trip took place in Melaque, Mexico where the Valencia brothers call home. They welcomed us with open arms and made us apart of their family for the trip. It was an experience that we will never forget and video editor and videographer Kyle Tidey does a great job of portraying the family vibe for you. We love skimboarding and we really love the Zap family of riders that we have come to know over the years. It is what keeps us moving forward! Sit back and enjoy the series.
Episode 1:
The episodes are created in Chronological order according to the time that we were in Melaque. Therefore, the first episode covers the first few days of the trip and some really fun sessions we had right after walking off the airplane. Melaque is truly an amazing place with unforgettable views that will never leave you. The trip to every skim spot was something out of a National Geographic movie as you will see in this episode. John Akerman was just getting his feet wet to the unfamiliar conditions while the Valencia bros were shredding out of their minds right in their backyard as usual.
