Sea Bright Skim Bash: Day 1

Day 1 Skim BashWords and Photos by Wendy Caputo

The first day of Skim Bash this weekend in NJ is a smaller contest – approx. 60 contestants.  Weather has been great and the conditions have been the best we have seen at this contest in years.  Pro Sam McCoy placed 1st in his heat to advance to tomorrows Pro Semi-Finals. Gordon Levine advanced as well.  Lucas McCoy will be skimming against Ed Hayden for 5/6.  Ellen Wood will compete tomorrow.  Sydney Pizza will be in the Jr. Women’s final tomorrow – they had a “fun heat today”
