The “Art of Skim” event went down during the Zap World Championships in Dewey Beach, DE at the Ivy. It was a great time hanging out with the entire skim community that made the trek to the contest and it also doubles as a fundraiser for the Skim USA Scholarship Fund as well as the Skim USA All Star Team. That being said, this was the biggest year so far raising funds for these organizations! Over 40 mini skimboards designed by artists and riders were auctioned off during the party as a silent auction The skimboards were debuted at the event and then moved to the beach the following day where they could be bid on more during the finals as the contest concluded and the winners could take their new skimboard home once everything had wrapped up.
Florida based DJ’s Lance-O and Red i of Kulcha Shok spun tunes throughout the entire event with a fun mix of games for the kids including Magic By Charlie, a local magician! It was a great night celebrating the final stop of the Skim USA tour with the skim community, family, & friends!
